Wasserman Legal Group opened in the autumn of 2009 in a converted brick storefront on Glenwood Avenue, a half mile from the Cuyahoga County courthouse. The economy was shaking out, foreclosure dockets were overflowing, and Cleveland's small businesses were quietly looking for a lawyer who could read a contract carefully and answer the phone twice.
We have stayed small on purpose. The firm has never employed more than six people. We turn down work outside our circle of competence. The clients we serve—contractors, restaurant owners, immigrant families, retired teachers, and the second generation of family businesses—are the same kind of clients we served the week we opened.
Our approach is unglamorous and entirely intentional: read every page, return every call, write every agreement so the client can understand it without us in the room.
Managing Partner
Ron founded the firm in 2009 after eight years at a mid-sized Cleveland practice. He handles the firm's civil litigation and business advisory work, and personally signs every engagement letter. Member, Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association; admitted in Ohio.
Of Counsel & Paralegal Staff
Our of-counsel attorneys handle estate planning and real estate closings, while our paralegal team manages filings, intake, and the unglamorous administrative work that keeps a matter moving on schedule.
