What We Do

A small firm with a wide bench

We focus on the legal work that quietly shapes the lives of people and the trajectory of small companies—contracts, disputes, ownership, and the documents that hold a future together.

01

Business & Commercial

Entity formation, operating agreements, vendor contracts, partnership disputes, and the routine but consequential paperwork that keeps a company defensible.

02

Civil Litigation

Pre-suit negotiation, mediated settlements, and trial advocacy in the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas and surrounding venues.

03

Estate & Probate

Wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney, and the orderly administration of estates across Ohio probate courts.

04

Real Estate

Residential and small-commercial closings, title review, easement matters, landlord–tenant counsel, and zoning support.

05

Employment Counsel

Handbooks, separation agreements, wage and hour reviews, and discreet pre-litigation guidance for both employers and employees.

06

Advisory & Retainer

A monthly retainer model for owner-operators who want a lawyer on call without an hourly meter ticking over every email.

2009Year Founded
The Firm

Rooted in Cleveland. Built around the client.

Wasserman Legal Group was founded on the conviction that a good lawyer is, before anything else, a careful listener. Our offices on Glenwood Avenue have welcomed Cleveland families, immigrant entrepreneurs, retiring small-business owners, and second-generation operators who needed someone to read their contract before they signed it.

We do not chase headlines. We do not staff cases with junior associates you have never met. Every matter at the firm is handled by an attorney who can quote the relevant statute from memory and who will return your call before the end of the day.

Ronald Glass, Managing Partner, has practiced in Northeast Ohio since 2009 and leads the firm's civil and business work. Our advisory team includes counsel admitted in Ohio, with active membership in the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.

How We Work

A predictable, four-step engagement

We have refined our intake and matter management over fifteen years. Whether you are facing a deadline or planning quietly, the path forward is the same.

Intake Call

A 25-minute conversation, free of charge, to understand the facts and judge whether we are the right fit. Conflicts checked the same day.

Engagement Letter

A plain-English engagement scope, fee structure, and timeline. No surprise line items, no automatic renewals.

Active Counsel

Drafting, filing, negotiating, or appearing. You receive a written status update at least every fourteen days, in addition to ad-hoc calls.

Closing & Aftercare

A close-out summary with all documents, deadlines, and recommended next steps. We remain reachable for 90 days at no further charge.

Clients

What Cleveland clients say

Ron read every page of a fifty-page distribution agreement and walked me through the three clauses that would have cost us the business. We are still his client four years later.

— M. Petrov, Owner, Ohio City Wholesale

I came in with a probate file my previous firm had abandoned. The team here untangled it without drama and without ever making me feel small for not understanding the procedure.

— D. Halloran, Lakewood

Calm, prepared, and unfailingly honest about what was worth fighting and what was not. That is rare.

— J. Saade, Small-business client, Tremont

Our HR handbook was years out of date. They rebuilt it in a week and explained every change to me line by line.

— R. Okafor, COO, Glenwood Manufacturing LLC
